Tennessee's oldest city never forgets its visitors, with a variety of events before and during Christmas and the annual Christmas Parade.

Tenn 34S, US11E and US321 connect Jonesborough to the city, and Greyhound connects Johnson City, so you are close to rail traffic. There is also a bus service to Nashville, Knoxville, Chattanooga, Nashville and Knox County, Tennessee, but there are no nearby rail services. This wonderland is located on the banks of the Tennessee River, just a few miles north of downtown Jonesboro.

Generally, the lights hold up compared to the rest of the country, but MSN has ranked them among the nation's top 10 Christmas lights.

The six-month series, which runs from May to October, features a variety of world-class storytellers. The world's leading storytelling festival is considered the largest live storytelling event in North America and one of the most prestigious in Europe.

The Jonesborough Repertory Theatre plays a few weekends a month, and you can attend the summer concert series at Music Square. The event features a variety of bands and music styles, including jazz, blues, rock, country, folk, pop, hip-hop and more.

Dr. Hart is from Cleveland, Tennessee and has lived in Jonesboro with his wife and two children for more than 30 years. Judith Black and Tony Toledo brought this name to the festival this year.

He attended Tennessee Technological University with a focus on preventive medicine in Cookeville, Tennessee, and graduated in 2004. After just three years of study, he was accepted to the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine and after graduating worked at Mountain Empire Animal Hospital. Dr. Padgett graduated from the University in 2003 after completing his first year at the Veterinary College with a DVM degree and a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science. He graduated with a B.S. in Animal Science and a D.M.V.D. in 2005 and an M.B.A. from Tennessee State University in 2006.

He practices small and large veterinary medicine at Mountain Empire Animal Hospital in Jonesborough, Tennessee, and is an assistant professor of veterinary medicine at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in Cookeville. He has been a veterinary medicine physician for more than 20 years and has served on the boards of the Tennessee Veterinary Medical Association and the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. In 1818 Earl opened the first museum in Nashville, where his paintings were exhibited, one of which is in his painting. Dr. Padgett, a graduate of Tennessee State University's Veterinary College, practices at Jonesboro Animal Hospital.

Christopher Taylor's house, where Jackson lived, has been restored and is part of Historic Main Street. The historic building, which once housed a grocery store, is now a two-story craft shop, and a quilting path connects the quilting shop with a quilting shop.

If you're lucky enough to be in town on a Sunday, spend the afternoon sipping local craft beer and dining while listening to the music of the Knoxville Music Festival, which begins in June. Families are invited to explore downtown as they search for Santa's helpers, which Santa Claus allows in Knox County. Break out the chairs and blankets to enjoy the fun summer concert series with a host of local artists.
