In round two my friend proceeded to get knocked out because i hit him with a pillow.
I try to be the best person i can be at any given moment and that's all i expect out of other people because i know we all have that potential.

After this, the plan is that I will have gotten into a great PhD program somewhere and will move there to get my PhD. Yes, I am a touch driven. In addition, I am a recent graduate of Lyon Collegeâ??a tiny liberal arts school nestled in only slightly larger city of Batesville, Arkansas. I am originally from Pine Bluff, Arkansasâ??which is a much larger city of about 55K just about 45 mins south of Little Rock. In addition to the BA in history, I also have a minor in philosophy and a pseudo-minor in English (Iâ??ve just taken about 12 English credits). I plan to attend the history graduate program at ASU-Jonesboro (pending my acceptance). Ultimately, my plan is to get my PhD in history (likely either classical history or medieval history). I despise labels. (Thank goodness for those tagless t-shirts!! LOL) Seriously, I refuse to be labeled myself. I'm not a Christian, but rather a free spirit. I do believe in God and an afterlife, but all the details are fuzzy. In fact, I enjoy the mystery of the idea of an afterlife. I do prefer to believe in reincarnation and spirits hovering around us. I am thankful each day for wonderfulness of life, and I strive to do something nice for someone each day. I don't attend church but rather I find God and renew my spirit in daily nature walks and in my own gardens.

I'm also not a Democrat or a Republican. I voted for George W. and Obama. I vote for whomever I feel is right for the job; I don't vote for a party/race/sex. I also believe in a woman's right to contraception and abortion, gay rights, gay marriage, and the death penalty. I also think both prostitution and marijuana should be legalized; honestly, who do they hurt and how would you ever stop it; let's tax them and spend the money for health care or other social endeavors to improve our country. I am opinionated, altho I'll admit I'm not always right. So feel free to argue with me and prove I'm wrong; I love a good debate and enjoy seeing things with a new perspective.

Probably the only labels you can stick to me are Aquarius and female--just born that way. But even as a female, I'm more of a tomboy than a "pure-bred" woman. I've always enjoyed outdoor activities more than indoor ones. I've always been independent and never waited around for a man to take care of me. I'm a do-it-yourselfer and can do some car repairs and some home repairs. I'm aggressive and assertive and refuse to be dominated.

That being said, I DO enjoy being womanly and submissive to a degree, but I am not someone who can be manipulated or controlled selfishly. If I thought you had my best interests at heart, I would love to give up some of the control of my life. I would enjoy someone else making some decisions, planning our evenings and vacations, or taking charge, as long as I feel my needs and desires are also being respected. I am both a traditional and a modern woman.

The kind of man who sparks my interest most is tall and big, muscled--not super-muscled like a body-builder, but just in good shape. I prefer dark-haired or gray-haired men and usually go for tanned or olive skinned men--Hispanics, Italians, Native Americans, Middle-easterns, etc. A sense of humor is a must. Someone who can take charge, yet can occasionally, willingly concede control is a first choice. Someone with a zest for life and a quest for adventure could easily win my attention. A man who can cook will win my heart. I prefer men my own age or older with a romantic, passionate, compassionate, generous nature. And he must have lots energy to keep up with me or he'll lag behind...which is fine...if you just want to "enjoy the view". LOL

I currently work at a chain video store. It's a job I like because like many people I enjoy movies. Again, I'm not going to lie, I like some bad shit! But I watch almost everything, and I do mean that. I usually watch four or five of the weekly releases every week if I have time! I prefer comedies but often love to watch a drama or horror movie. I do also check out action movies but to be honest that would be the genre I watch the least. Sci-fi is good for a spin once in a while too.

As far as the kind of guys I like, it's usually the ones I can't have. I always fall for straight guys, but I think we all do. I love a guy with a baby face! Pretty boys all the way. If you're cute with an adorable smile. My heart will melt in your hands! A nice body is always good but not a must. I don't have a six pack, why should I expect you to.
