My husband and I are regulars here - at least twice a month. Their food is always fresh and the make-your-own stir fry is a wonderful addition that I've not see anywhere else. I love that they have sweet & sour sauce & spicy mustard available - those are perfect complements to their egg rolls. My favorite food here the orange chicken - perfectly sweet sauce over cruchy fried chicken. Hubby loves their sweet & sour chicken and always gets it first. For families with picky children they also have several 'kid friendly' items on their buffet like chicken rings, mini corn dogs and fries. My son can always find something he likes to eat. I would recommend Kirin to anybody.

From the nice people to the rich and tasty wonton soup to the buffet, you will not be disappointed. No MSG. Some of the best cooked vetagables you will get anywhere. Try it, you will like it.

I can't believe I'm the first to rate this place, given how good it is. Now, it's not a menu-only, finer dining restaurant, but in the world of usual Asian buffet, it's the best we've had, hands down. We've since moved from Jonesboro and miss it so much... none of the Asian buffets in our new town come near it. Surprisingly, they're price is within a dollar of all the other local Asian buffets, though the value seems so much higher. Lots of features set Kirin above their competitors. Firstly, the vegetables taste fresh and have a nice al dente crispness rather than overcooked mushiness as found on other buffets. They don't use MSG and they do use good oils in moderation, for better flavor and health value. They serve the usual recipes found on such buffets, but theirs have more flavor and are more interesting and distinct, making good use of seasonings and peppers rather than relying only on fried batter and gooey sweet cornstarch sauces.
